Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.’
I have three main passions in life:
My love for animals.
My love for ecology and conservation
My website is the perfect mixture of all three. Every recipe i post is completely vegan, helping so save both the planet and the animals who call it home. There is a common misconception that veganism = salads. My aim is to show people that veganism can be diverse, tasty and adapted to fit every lifestyle and budget!
I’ve spent 5 years working as a chef , where i discovered my love making and discovering all sorts of recipes and foods that people could enjoy. More recently, i discovered my love for conservation. This has driven me to leave the food industry to go and study at university and become a real environmentalist, leaving me to throw all my foodie creativity into my blog.
Dashingly handsome and “oh, so vegan”. I went vegan soon after Amy with the mission to prove that “If I can do it, anyone can do it” after hearing people tell Amy on many occasions “Good on you… but I could never do it”. It’s simply not true. Give me a steak and blue cheese before I went vegan and I would be happy as Larry. Now I wouldn’t even look back.
There are so many reasons why we, as a human race, have to start thinking about sustaining ourselves on a plant-based diet. Veganism doesn’t just come down to compassion, it comes down to resources and the damage we are causing to our planet.
